Port and Sherry and Fortified wine

Fortified wine is a wine to which a distilled spirit, usually Brandy is added. Sherry is a fortified wine made from the grapes grown near the city of Jerez de la Frontera Spain. Port wine is a Portuguese fortified wine produced with grape spirits exclusively in the Douro Valley.
